Once you have set up the basics for your company, you can start onboarding your employees. You can add users individually, or in bulk.
Step 1: When you log into your account, and you have the necessary administration permissions to add users to your company, navigate to 'People' under 'Administration' in the side menu.
Step 2: If you want to add users individually, click on 'Add a Person'.
Step 3: A focus panel will open up. Capture the user's details in the focus panel; you can choose a department to assign that user to, but they can only be assigned to one department. Then you can choose a team from that department. The 'Languages' field is optional. Click on 'Submit' to save the user's details.
Step 4: If you would like to bulk upload users, click on 'Bulk upload' from the top tabs, or the middle of the page (if you have not yet added any users).
Step 5: You will land on a new page, where you can download the CSV or Excel template that you can use to upload your users' details.
Step 6: Complete the user upload template, and then browse and upload the completed user CSV or Excel file you are using.
Step 7: You will see the uploaded file, with the options to remove it by clicking on the 'X'. Click on 'Validate' to look for any errors in your file.
Step 8: If there are errors, you'll see exactly what they are (they'll be highlighted in red). You'll see tabs at the top of the uploaded list indicating 'Valid', 'Error Found', and 'Edited' users.
Step 9: You can edit each user's profile directly on the platform if there are errors, or delete them directly from here.
You can also click on 'Remove all' to remove all the users you have updated.
Step 10: You can upload the file even if there are errors; however, users with errors won't be saved to your company and will be listed as 'Unsuccessful' on your confirmation modal.
Step 11: Once you have uploaded users successfully, you can send bulk activation emails directly from this process. You will see a list of users, and you can select which users you'd like to send activation emails to immediately. If you'd prefer to send them at a later stage, you can do that as well.
Step 12: You'll see your newly added users on your People page. They'll have an indicator that says 'Invite Pending' which means that they haven't received their activation emails yet.
