How do I access my Analytics Overview?

Analytics Overview gives insights into company skills, engagement, departments, teams, users, and roles. It includes heat maps, leaderboards, and visualizations like radar and bar charts to track performance against expectations.

Navigate to ‘Analytics' in your side menu, and you'll land on your Overview page. This page provides you with exactly that - an overview of your company's skills and learning. You can see each department, specific skills, and engagement, which includes daily activity and course completion. You’ll also have access to a heat map for all your departments, and a leaderboard for your employees.
The heat map provides an overview of your company's strengths and areas for growth. Clicking on specific departments takes you to that department, which allows you to dig deeper into that department's analytics.
On your overview page, you'll also be able to see people-specific analytics - top-rated employees, and a leaderboard for users based on Kepler Points and skill score.
We've also included specific pages for each section (the availability of the menu items depends on the analytics permissions that you have been given for your company):
  • 'Engagement' tracks how many users are logging onto the platform, how many courses are being completed and how many are in progress, as well as a leaderboard indicating which learners are excelling in their skill levels, and which learners are engaging the most with the platform and earning Kepler Points.
  • 'Departments' allows you to see all the departments in your company and their skill average levels. You can click on any of the departments to explore a bit more - understand which teams are succeeding in the department, and which skills need a bit more work than others
  • 'Teams' offers you an overview of the teams in your company. Clicking on a team provides you with more information, just like it does with Departments.
  • 'People' allows you to view each user's progress. Their skills, their courses and their engagement on the platform. This is a great tool when going through a Performance Improvement Plan, or just to gain insights into the skills available to you by your employees.
  • 'Skills' shows all the skills that are available in your company, and by exploring each skill, you can see an average across your company or department, the distribution across the company of the skill levels in that skill, and how many Kepler Points have been earned for that particular skill.
  • 'Report Templates' is where you can view reports of the analytics in your company. You can also download all reports as a CSV file.
  • 'Role analytics’ allows you to analyse specific roles in your company - to establish how roles compare to what their expected proficiencies are in skills applicable to those roles, and provide a ranking of the current roles in your company.
You can access more information about a specific role by clicking on that role, which includes:
  • The role average skill level compared to the expected level.
  • A radar chart showing the actual and expected skill levels for each skill associated with the role - this radar chart provides a great visual of how the role is performing in your company.
  • A bar chart representing skill levels versus expected levels across all skills for the selected role.
