How do I complete my 360 or peer assessment?

360 or Peer Assessments provide a holistic view of your skills by combining self-assessments with anonymous peer feedback. Employees rate their own and their peers skills based on how frequently skills are used and each person’s proficiency level.

Peer assessments are a great way to get an overall view of your skills, and your peers' skills. We don't always know how proficient we are in a specific skill, so it's nice to get an outsider's view. When you're endorsing your peers, be honest, but kind. Your peers will be doing the same for you.

Step 1: Once you log in, you'll see 'Role-based skills assessment'. Click here to see your peer endorsement.

Step 2: You'll have to capture how frequently you use a skill. This helps us when calculating your self-assessment, and your contribution to your peers' skill scores. (The frequency with which you use a skill plays a vital role in the skill score weighting when completing a self-rating of peer assessment skills and the rating of team members. For example, the skill score rating will adjust for instances where a team member is assessing a peer who uses a skill daily and has five years experience, whereas they use this same skill monthly and have only been using this skill for 1 year.) Click on 'Submit' at the bottom of the screen when you're done.

Step 3: Let us know what level you are at for each skill. The rating key on the side provides guidance on what each level means. Also capture how long you've been using the skill. This also plays a role in calculating your 'weighting' in your peers' assessments. When you're done, click on 'Submit' at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4: Now you're ready to assess your peers. You can choose who you'd like to endorse, but please endorse honestly, and fairly, because these assessments are anonymous. But the more honest the feedback, the more impactful your skills data will be. Click on 'Endorse Your Team' when you're ready to start.

Step 5: Choose which peers you'd like to endorse. You don't have to endorse all of them, but if you do know them and work with them regularly, please do. The more info we have, the better results we can get, which helps you and your peers. Click on 'Start Endorsement' to endorse your peers.

Step 6: Choose a rating that you feel best suits your colleague's proficiency in their skills. You can use the rating key on the right-hand side as guidance, and if you don't know how well they use a specific skill, you can select 'Don't Know'. Click on 'Submit rating' at the bottom of the screen when you're done.

Step 7: Endorse all the peers that you can. You'll notice that they might not all the have the same skills to be endorsed on. These skills are allocated to them according to their role.

Step 8: Once you have endorsed a peer, you can change their endorsement if you think your initial endorsement wasn't an accurate one. You can also filter your endorsements to make navigating them a bit easier.

Step 9: Click on 'Submit' once you're done endorsing your peers. You'll see a popup asking you to confirm you're happy with your endorsements. Click 'Yes, I'm done' when you're happy!

Step 10: If you have completed all your assessments, you'll land on your skills report. If your peers haven't yet completed their endorsements of you, you might not have any skill results yet. But as soon as they have, you'll get to see a full Skills Report.
